Terms of Use

Last updated October 16, 2026

By using FixLetter, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Not legal advice

FixLetter provides general letter templates and guides for informational purposes. FixLetter is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and using the site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Laws vary by state and country. For legal questions, talk to a licensed attorney.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the facts in your letter, for checking every name, date, amount, and law before sending it, and for how you use it. Don't use FixLetter to make false statements, harass anyone, or break the law.

AI-personalized letters

The optional AI feature uses an AI model to rewrite your letter. AI can make mistakes, so review the result carefully before you send it.

Purchases

  • Single letter ($4): unlocks copying and downloading of one letter in the browser you used to buy it.
  • Unlimited ($9/month): unlocks all letters in the browser you used to subscribe, plus a monthly allowance of AI-personalized letters. It renews monthly until you cancel.
  • AI letter ($6): unlocks one letter and one AI personalization with one revision.
  • Resignation, raise request, and severance letters are free.

Unlocks are saved in your browser. Clearing your browser data or switching devices may remove them; contact us and we'll help. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Refunds and cancellation

  • Because letters are delivered instantly and you can preview each one free before paying, single-letter and AI-letter purchases are final once unlocked.
  • You can cancel Unlimited anytime. It won't renew, and you keep access until the end of the paid month. We don't give refunds for partial months.
  • If something goes wrong on our end, like a payment that went through but the letter never unlocked, contact us and we'll fix it or refund you.

To cancel or report a problem, email hello@getfixletter.com.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is." We don't promise that any letter will get the result you want, or that the site will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, FixLetter is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date above. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
