✓ Last checked Oct 2026 against Match’s official pages. See sources

On Match, canceling your subscription means turning off auto-renewal in Manage Subscription. If you subscribed through Apple, cancel in the App Store.

Ways to cancel

App, mobile web, or desktop
Account settings, then Manage Subscription, then cancel or turn off auto-renewal.
Apple
App Store, then your profile icon, then Subscriptions, then Cancel Subscription.
Google Play
If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel in Google Play’s subscription settings.

Step by step

  1. Figure out how you subscribed: on Match directly, or through Apple or Google.
  2. On Match: open settings, go to Manage Subscription, enter your password, and cancel or turn off auto-renewal.
  3. Cancel add-on features (like Private Mode) separately if you don’t want them to renew.
  4. Screenshot the confirmation.

Watch out for

Whatever method you use, save proof: a confirmation number, email, screenshot, or certified mail receipt. Then check your next statement.
