How to cancel Xfinity

✓ Last checked Oct 2026 against Xfinity’s official pages. See sources

Xfinity’s cancel page says to call, schedule a call, or visit an Xfinity Store to cancel. Returning rented equipment is a separate step, so keep proof of every return.

Ways to cancel

Phone
1-800-934-6489, or schedule a call from xfinity.com/cancel.
In person
Visit an Xfinity Store.
Equipment returns
Use the Digital Return Center at xfinity.com/returns (prepaid UPS label), or drop equipment off at an Xfinity Store and get a receipt.
Mail
Xfinity’s cancel page doesn’t list a mailing address. Check your service agreement.

Step by step

  1. Check whether you’re on a term agreement or promotion that has an early termination fee.
  2. Call 1-800-934-6489, schedule a call, or visit a store to cancel. Ask for a confirmation number and the final bill date.
  3. Return every rented device through xfinity.com/returns or a store. Keep the UPS receipt or store receipt.
  4. Check your final bill for equipment charges and prorating.

Watch out for

Whatever method you use, save proof: a confirmation number, email, screenshot, or certified mail receipt. Then check your next statement.
